Puppy Aptitude Test
During the winter we have approval to train at the Earth Science Building at Memorial University and at the RCMP Building in Pleasantville. We train in the underground parking garages. A great big thank you to MUN and the RCMP for supporting us. We also train at the back parking lot at St. John's Airport when the weather cooperates, again a great big thank you to Airport Authority.
On fine days we track at Ryan's and/or Tappers' fields in Torbay and finish with Obedience and Protection at our Training Field in Flatrock.
When the weather cooperates we train at Brian's house on the Bauline Line in Torbay, we supplement this by using Connor's field just behind Brian's house. Sometimes we train at Jack's place in Flatrock.
Many places, lots of training, lots of fun.
Now the Schedule.
During January February & March
Every Tuesday and Thursday night at 7:00 pm either at the Earth Science Building or Brian's house, depending on the weather. Some nights we go to the RCMP building or the Airport. Give either Jack (437.5789) or Brian (437.1728) a call to confirm location and time.
On Saturday morning (8:30 am), if the weather cooperates we track at Ryan's field in Torbay and finish with Obedience and Protection at our Training Field in Flatrock. If the weather is uncooperative we train at Earth Science Building or at the Airport.
From April to October
Every Tuesday and Thursday night at our training field in Flatrock and the weather in not a factor, Rain or Shine. Give either Jack (437.5789) or Brian (437.1728) a call to confirm your attendance.
On Saturday morning (8:30 am), again Rain or Shine we start with Tracking at Ryan's field in Torbay, and continue with Obedience and Protection at our Training Field in Flatrock.
Check out our training seminars dates, we usually plan one (1) per month.

That's the scheduled club training. Each member also trains 2 or 3 times a week at their homes....
The sport of Schutzhund encourages each of us to spend some high quality time with our dogs. Remember training done in the right way is fun for the dog, it's just one big happy game.
Why not consider joining our club and have some fun with your dog, you'll enjoy it BUT most importantly your dog will love it. Do it for your canine friend.
Video Training
The NSC has an extensive video library that can be accessed by club members after 1 year of membership. For a full listing contact our librarian, Jack Parsons.
Books
Our book collection is not as extensive as our videos but it is still impressive, for a full listing contact our librarian, Jack Parsons.
